"Enter into children's play and you will find the place where their minds, hearts and souls meet"
Improving the well-being of children through creative arts and therapeutic play
Hello, I am Angela ,
I have recently qualified as a creative arts and play therapist, an exciting but natural career change given my background.
As a primary school teacher and mother to four young adults I have become increasingly drawn to working therapeutically with children helping them build strategies and resilience improving their mental well being in response to demanding events. I aim to work with parents and teachers too to strengthen relationships between children and their adults.
Who can it help?
Play therapy can help children who are experiencing a range of social or emotional difficulties such as:
Friendship difficulties, bullying or being bullied

Anxiety, stress or phobias
Parental and family separation
Overwhelming emotional reponses
Communication and behavioural delays or difficulties
Bereavement, trauma & abuse
Looked-after and fostered children
Play therapy services to schools and in private practice:
small group sessions
Staff Inset and Parent workshops on attachment and building stronger relationships.
